Frequently Asked Questions

There are certain areas that can be published by themselves like individual product code pages, category pages, and more. The best way you can ensure all of your changes have been pushed to the customer-facing eRental site is to run a full site publish by going to the left-hand side menu and clicking Site > Publish UI > Publish Rental Site

If you are still not seeing the changes on the site, try doing a hard refresh of your browser with CTRL+F5. If that doesn't show the changes, try clearing your cache and cookies or opening the site in a different browser like Chrome, Firefox, IE. If you've tried everything above, please submit a support ticket.

If you have minor changes to your header or footer like adding/updating a menu link or updating a phone number or hours of operation, please submit a support ticket.

If you are looking to overhaul your header and footer, please reach out to your sales representative to purchase a pack of hours and we will work with you to make it perfect.

When a user clicks Sign in on your eRental site, this can be configured to show the "Need An Account" modal popup to the right of the Sign in fields. You can update the email address that these requests go to by updating the ecom setting: login_request_email

If you are still not receiving the login request emails, you will need to verify that you have placed your email credentials in integraRental under Setup > Email Settings. If the SMTP Email From field shows: integraRentalNotification@integrasoft.com, then you will not receive the login request email. Please work with your email provider for the appropriate credentials and/or view the support documentation here.

We have started this library by adding walkthroughs with the most common FAQ topics, but will continue to update this library regularly until all features and topics are covered.

If you have an immediate need, please submit a support ticket or reach out to your digital experiences consultant to request information.

Rates are not dynamically updated like asset availability is. Every time a full site publish is run, eRental makes a call to integraRental and updates all of your assets with the rates currently set up in integraRental. Whenever you are making changes to rates in integraRental, you will need to run a full site publish in eRental to grab the latest rates.

Site > Publish UI > Publish Rental Site

eRental can be configured in four different ways, regarding credit cards, on customer checkout.

  1. No Credit Card Popup
  2. Tokenize & Save Card to file
  3. Charge Full Payment
  4. Charge Partial Payment

For Partial payments, if the total is….

Less than $500  …then user will be charged the full total for the reservation request.

Greater than or equal to $500 AND less than or equal to $1000  ...then user will be charged $500 on checkout.

Greater than $1000  ...then user will be charged 50% of the full total for the reservation request.

Contact your Digital Experiences Consultant, or submit a support ticket to have our team update the configurations.
